Virgin Media POS
This was a very exciting brief to work on, most notably because it tapped into my Product Design and Visualisation skills. It really stretched the creative and design teams and everyone was fired up just to work with such a well know brand.
Brief:
Create a stand out POS stand 3m x 3m to be featured in a new electrical retailer coming to the UK. Re-introduce the cheekiness and individuality from the core Virgin brand [something Virgin Media had suffered a loss of after integration with NTL]

Merial Bluetongue vaccination campaign
Merial is a large manufacturer of vaccines and chemical controls to the farming industry. One of the largest threats faced throughout the summer season is a disease called Bluetongue [not to be confused with Bluetooth]. It is spread by midges which bite and infect the cattle, so it can affect different parts of the country literally by something as simple as a change in wind direction.
Brief:
Produce a campaign to make both Vets and farmers aware of the risk from Bluetongue, and drive them to choose the Merial vaccination BTVpur.

My part was to come up with ideas for a micro site to disseminate information, and for data collection. The data would then be used to direct the campaign, changing it if necessary through it's duration.

TRW website refresh
TRW are a large after market parts supplier to the automotive industry. Their website at the time did not reflect their size or stature so they asked us to table some ideas on a refresh for their existing site.
Brief:
Bring the site up to date, and more in line with the current TRW brand. Include the facility to cross promote items, and highlight special offers and product USP on the home page.

The glass car is my particular favourite. I came up with the idea so you can see the after market parts as it rotates, which are then shown in more detail as the car pauses and the technical details are picked out.

Berghaus CSR
CSR was a buzz word that peaked last year [Corporate Social Responsibility] and any organisation that was worth their weight in advertising jumped on the bandwagon. Communicationg CSR in a way that isn't dry can be very difficult. Fortunately following a shoot we had a beautiful image [a sofa overgrown in a wood] that seemed to feel just right for the brief.
Brief:
Berghaus wanted a section including in their website to communicate their approach to CSR that would stand apart but still fit within the the overall design of the existing site.

Berghaus interactive brand book
Many organisations have what is called a brand book. A collection of imagery, typiography and colours associated with their organisation and it's products and a guide on how to use these through the various channels accessed by the consumer.
Brief:
Berghaus, required a way of taking their brand book with them wherever they went, but with the ability to be able to update it easily, and showcase it on the move.
We came up with what is essentially a flash microsite with streaming content such as video and audio. This is an ongoing project and has been used successfully, to educate Berghaus retailers about the brand and how best to showcase it.

Heads Up!
Arguably my favourite mobile game that I've developed, if only for the fact that it was the first. The idea is quite simple and based on Keepy Uppy. I rendered the sprites of the boy and ball, and hand drew the backgrounds. I played this to death on my Sony Ericsson T610, still one of my favourite handsets even now when I own an iPhone! Quite simply a cool little pick up and play game.

Fremantle mobile games
We were tasked with bringing the back catalogue of Fremantle Media to life through a series of mobile games. These were to tie in as closely as possible to the existing TV game shows.
This was a reasonably tough development cycle, short time scales coupled with shortcomings in phone memory, particularly on the S40 series of phones meant that we had to do dozens of builds for multiple handsets. The final results were, however, very satisfactory despite the challenge. Below are a selection of the titles we worked on.

Avatar
I had mixed feelings about this film, and was quite frankly underwhelmed by the first teaser trailer. However my curiosity has got the better of me and the more I find out about the film the more I am staggered by the sheer technology and scale behind it, but don't take my word for it.
